SOLEMN LAUNCH THIS MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2025, OF THE DEMATERIALIZATION OF IMPORT AND EXPORT OPERATIONS IN THE DRC
It is now effective, the dematerialization of import and import operations was solemnly launched this Monday, October 6, 2025 in Kinshasa by the Secretary General for Foreign Trade, Jules Muilu Mbo, representing the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya, in the presence of experts from the Comprehensive Single Window for Foreign Trade-SEGUCE/RDC, delegates from the General Directorate of Administrative, Judicial, State and Participation Revenues-DGRAD and the General Secretariat for Foreign Trade as well as those of the Congo Business Federation-FEC.
A demonstration to request or renew the Import-Export Number and monitor in real time the level of processing of each file on this digital platform set up by the Integral Single Window for Foreign Trade-SEGUCE/RDC for the benefit of the General Secretariat for Foreign Trade to modernize and simplify import and export operations was made on this occasion by Fils Nzamitere, head of the Kinshasa center at SEGUCE-RDC
Thanks to this digital platform, from now on, the forms are filled out online with attached documents to obtain your Import-Export number in one hour maximum, because it significantly reduces the delays and costs of procedures, improves transparency and traceability to effectively fight against the leakage of public revenues, said the Secretary General for Foreign Trade, Jules Muilu Mbo while adding that this reform is in line with the efforts made in facilitating trade by the Democratic Republic of Congo which has just ratified, a few months ago, the Agreement on Trade Facilitation of the World Trade Organization-WTO
Training on capacity building for administration agents and economic operators in the provinces will be launched shortly by the Comprehensive Single Window for Foreign Trade-SEGUCE/DRC as part of popularization, indicated Fils Nzamitere
Note that the provincial divisions of Foreign Trade will be equipped with equipment
