at the level of the African Continental Free Trade Area-ZLECAF and the American market with its AGOA law which allows eligible Sub-Saharan African countries to export most of their products to the United States of America without customs duties and without obligation of reciprocity as well as the Chinese market.

Assurance from the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya made this Wednesday in Kinshasa to the President of the Board of Directors of the Company Tuvali Équateur-SOCITEQ, Isse Maliona who is the Developer of the said area.

On this occasion, the Minister launched an appeal to economic operators in the regions of Beni, Butembo and Lubero to invest more in the agri-food sector, because for example cocoa, coffee and Congolese pepper are very appreciated and sought after on the Chinese and American market, but they must respect international and national standards upstream, he insisted.
