MINISTRY OF FOREIGN TRADE: TECHNICAL MEETING WITH EXPERTS FROM THE COMPANY VIDERAY TECHNONOLOGIE ON THE CONSOLIDATION OF THE CERTIFICATION OF PRODUCTS MADE IN DRC IN SUPPORT OF THE CONGOLESE CONTROL OFFICE-OCC

Competitiveness of products made in DRC on regional, global and national markets with the strengthening of consumer protection, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya consolidates the contribution of innovations to boost the Foreign Trade sector of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Congolese Control Office-OCC, whose mission is to control the quality and conformity of everything that enters and leaves the DRC, now benefits from the expertise of the company Videray Technolologie which has just set up the National Computerized Certification System to NCD Standards.
This system which integrates the QR Code and online ordering of stamps has several advantages for consumers including the guarantee of quality and safety of products, increased confidence in the goods purchased, and for economic operators, the simplification of administrative procedures, the reduction of delays and costs linked to certification and easy access to national and international markets, but also, for the Government, the strengthening of control of imports and exports, alignment with international standards and the promotion of products made in DRC certified, indicated Hance Mazimi Nsibu, NCD Manager of Videray Technologie.

It was during a technical session presenting this National Computerized Certification System to NCD Standards to the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya surrounded by experts from his Ministry, which took place this Wednesday, February 25, 2026 in Kinshasa in the presence of Patrick Mfueni, General Director of this company whose national headquarters is based in Boston in the United States of America

On behalf of the Congolese Government, the Minister of Foreign Trade encouraged the public and private sectors to take ownership of this reform which now allows economic operators to obtain the certificate of conformity for their goods within less than a week.

Note that in a short time this system which already operates at the level of the Congolese Control Office-OCC will be officially launched in Kinshasa by the Congolese authorities to thus launch its popularization across the country.
