In a decree signed this Monday, May 25, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya has just lifted the precautionary suspension measure affecting the Director General of the Congolese Control Office-OCC, Etienne Tshimanga Mutombo, and this, in accordance with the regulatory texts in force in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the duration of a suspension cannot exceed 3 months, except in the event of a final conviction.
The resumption of functions of the Director General of the OCC will take place this Thursday, May 28, 2026, under the supervision of the Secretary General for Foreign Trade.
