MINISTRY OF FOREIGN TRADE; TECHNICAL MEETING BETWEEN MINISTER JULIEN PALUKU KAHONGYA WITH THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF AUDA-NEPAD, NARDOS BEKELE-THOMAS

Acceleration of the implementation of Agenda 2063 of the African Union, the Democratic Republic of Congo will benefit from the support of the African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa's Development- AUDA-NEPAD to mobilize funding in order to execute its priority projects and within a short time, the AUDA-NEPAD Office will be opened in Kinshasa.

Outcomes of the technical meeting this Friday, June 19, 2026 in the town of Centurion located between Pretoria and Midrand in the Republic of South Africa, between the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya, personal representative of the Head of State to AUDA-NEPAD and the Executive Secretary of this technical body of the African Union which has the mission of coordinating and executing regional and continental development projects, of integrating the priorities of African countries and mobilize resources to achieve Agenda 2063.

With its strategic geographical position and its immense natural resources, the DRC under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi Tshilombo is committed to playing a major role in the realization of Agenda 2063 of the African Union declared the Minister of Foreign Trade Julien Paluku Kahongya to the international and national press

Note that the agreement between the Congolese Government and AUDA-NEPAD will soon be signed in Kinshasa.
