MINISTRY OF FOREIGN TRADE; MEETING WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE DRC TO THE SOUTH AFRICAN REPUBLIC IN PRETORIA
The key role that the embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the Republic of South Africa must play in consolidating the partnership between the Congolese Government and the African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa's Development-AUDA-NEPAD headquartered in the town of Centurion in South Africa, with the opening shortly in Kinshasa of the AUDA-NEPAD Office, but also, encouraging the mission dispatched by the Government with the aim of preparing responses to alleviate the suffering of certain Congolese victims of xenophobia on South African territory, against which all of Africa must rise; these points were at the center of a meeting on the evening of Friday June 19, 2026 in Pretoria between the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya, Personal Representative of the Head of State to AUDA-NEPAD and the Ambassador of the DRC to South Africa, John Nyakeru Kalunga
The Minister of Foreign Trade threw flowers to the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi Tshilombo for modernizing the DRC embassy in the South African Republic, which now reflects the greatness of the DRC.
