MINISTRY OF FOREIGN TRADE; FUNERAL: THE LAST TRIBUTES OF MINISTER JULIEN PALUKU KAHONGYA TO JOSÉ LOMATA, COORDINATOR OF THE NATIONAL MERCURIAL COMMISSION- CNM

The last tributes were paid this Tuesday, June 23, 2026 in Kinshasa to José LOMATA, Coordinator of the Commission Nationale des Mercuriales-CNM, a structure of the Ministry of Foreign Trade which has the main mission of developing and regularly publishing the mercurial prices of mining and agricultural products exported by the Democratic Republic of Congo, worthy tributes paid to him by parliamentarians, members of the Government, agents of public and private companies, general officers of the army and the Congolese national police, service colleagues, family members, friends and acquaintances, for the loyal services rendered to the Republic.

On behalf of the Government, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya saluted the memory of a great servant of the Nation and his exceptional qualities, a strong jersey of the Foreign Trade sector which is leaving and his works must be immortalized he added, while reassuring the family of the support of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

Very saddened, the Deputy Rapporteur of the Senate, Jean-Claude Baende and the Ministers of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya, of Territorial Planning, Jean-Lucien Bussa and that of Hydraulic Resources and Electricity, Aimé Molendo Sakombi as well as several other officials laid down their wreaths.
