CONFERENCE-DEBATE ON THE PROBLEM OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE DRC, LAND OF HOPE

Panelist at a conference-debate on the problem of economic development in the DRC, land of hope organized this Thursday in the capital by the University of Kinshasa, Julien Paluku Kahongya, Doctoral student in Political and Administrative Sciences, Expert in the management of armed conflicts in the Great Lakes region, in Decentralization and in Development made it known that the development of the Democratic Republic of Congo requires quality leadership,
manager and visionary who exists today, from where we are called to focus on the implementation of public policies which are also there, he insisted

We must focus on the 6 components of the Industrialization Master Plan, notably roads, airports, ports, rail energy and special economic zones for the local transformation of natural resources which will contribute to
the diversification of the national economy concluded Doctoral Student Julien Paluku Kahongya while insisting on the modernization of the Congolese Control Office-OCC to make Congolese products competitive on the international market.

For Professor Vital Kamerhe, key speaker at this conference, structuring projects are needed to develop the DRC with good governance and the fight against corruption.
Hope is a powerful weapon to believe in a better future in the country, he added.

All the panelists focused on the pacification of the east of the country, because peace is the other synonym of development.

Note that around a hundred university professors and several students took part in this conference-debate.
