FIRST MEETING OF THE SUPERVISION COMMITTEE OF THE SINGLE WINDOW FOR FOREIGN TRADE
To finally address the harassment to which economic operators are victims in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Government is consolidating strategies to control the circuit of dematerialization of documents and procedures for exports and imports, through the Single Window for Foreign Trade-SEGUCE.
The evaluation of reforms already undertaken by the Congolese State with achievements and obstacles but also prospects was at the center of the first meeting of the supervision committee of the Single Window for Commerce held this Thursday at the Government building in which the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the National Economy, the Minister of Foreign Trade, the Vice-Minister of Finance and that of the Budget as well as the facilitators of the technical structures including the Congolese Office of Controle-OCC, the General Directorate of Customs and Excise- DGDA, the Multimodal Freight Management Office-
OGEFREM
and the Single Window for Foreign Trade-SEGUCE.
To properly consolidate this desire of the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi on the dematerialization of documents and procedures for exports and imports, the General Directorate of Customs and Excise will no longer have to deal with a file which has not passed through the Single Window for Commerce to properly control the entry and exit of goods, because the DRC is now on the trajectory of modern States, said the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya and President of the Window's supervision committee.
