3RD MINISTERIAL RETREAT OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENTAL FREE TRADE AREA- ZLECAF IN ZANZIBAR IN TANZANIA

Julien Paluku Kahongya, Minister of Foreign Trade represents the
Democratic Republic of Congo at the 3rd ministerial retreat of the Council of Ministers of the African Continental Free Trade Area-ZLECAF which opened this Monday in Zanzibar in the United Republic of Tanzania.

On the menu of this council of Ministers of Foreign Trade of the ZLECAF of which Julien Paluku Kahongya is the rapporteur,
the promotion of intra-African trade, the strengthening of continental integration, the competitiveness of African products on the markets and the development of value chains for the industrialization of African countries

This meeting will result in the implementation of concrete strategies to strengthen intra-African trade in the next 10 years, but also set the milestones for the creation in the future of a single market for goods and services and the African customs union.

Note that these meetings are chaired by Wamkele Mene, Secretary General of the ZLECAF
