MINISTER JULIEN PALUKU KAHONGYA IS REASSURED BY THE START OF THE 47TH FAIR EDITION AT THE CONGO INTERNATIONAL FAIR KINSHASA-FICKIN ON AUGUST 2, 2025 IN KINSHASA AFTER VISIT THE EXHIBITION SITE THIS TUESDAY JULY 29, 2025

After visiting this Tuesday July 29, 2025 the exhibition site for the 47th fairground edition at the Coongo-Kinshasa International Fair-
FICKIN, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya reassures the Congolese population and foreigners that this 47th fairground edition placed under the theme "Fair of peace and national unity for the stability of commercial exchanges" starts this Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the International Fair of Coongo-Kinshasa-
FICKIN

On site, accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Directors,
Kennedy Katasi, the Director General of FICKIN, Didier Kabampele and experts from his Ministry, Julien Paluku Kahongya visited the pavilions which are preparing to welcome the exhibitors, the podium for the concerts of major music stars including Werrason to promote Congolese culture, the restaurants and terraces for the promotion of Congolese gastronomy.
The Minister calls on the people of Congo and Kinshasa, the different provinces and foreigners to come massively to visit the Coongo-Kinshasa International Fair which has just rejoined the Union of International Fairs and whose modernization work will be launched shortly by the Chinese company Hunan Construction Company LTD whose experts are arriving this Thursday, July 31 in Kinshasa.

This is one of the outcomes of the active participation of the Minister of Foreign Trade in
the 4th edition of the Sino-African economic and commercial exhibition in Hunan as part of the consolidation of commercial and economic diplomacy led by the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi

Before leaving the exhibition site which is changing day by day, the Minister encouraged the agents and executives of FICKIN and announced that he will provide the DRC with the fairground law to regulate all fairground activities across the country, the technical work of this bill is already completed at the level of experts he added while congratulating the provinces which have already given spaces to FICKIN
