THE MATERIALIZATION OF EXPORTS OF PRODUCTS MADE IN DRC TO CHINA WITHOUT PAYMENT OF CUSTOMS DUTIES PROJECTED IN A SHORT TIME, AT THE CENTER OF A STRATEGIC MEETING THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 15, 2025 IN KINSHASA BETWEEN MINISTER JULIEN PALUKU KAHONGYA AND THE CHINESE AMBASSADOR IN DRC, ZHAO BIN

The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China accredited to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zhao Bin reassured the Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya this Friday, August 15, 2025 in Kinshasa that the framework agreement he had signed on September 6 in Beijing with the chosen Minister of Commerce, Wang Wentao
will be implemented quickly, with the aim of increasing the volume of exports of Congolese products to China with an emphasis on agricultural products, he added.

The Minister of Foreign Trade, Julien Paluku Kahongya, for his part, indicated that a period of 60 days was given to the negotiators of these two countries to present the draft agreement which will be an answer to all the questions linked to the exports of products made in DRC to China without payment of customs fees and added that the Ministry of Agriculture will be involved as the organizing power of domestic production before export

Remember that this framework agreement provided for 4 more concrete negotiation modules including easier trade, more inclusive development, a more resilient supply chain aimed at upgrading industries and more modern areas of development aimed at trade and electronic payment, digitization of documents
