COUNCIL OF MINISTERS: THE GOVERNMENT ADOPTED AN ACTION PLAN TO DEAL WITH THE DROP IN COCOA PRICES
During the meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired this Friday, May 8, 2026 at the African Union City by the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, the Government adopted an interministerial action plan to deal with the fall in cocoa prices.
This system combines tax measures, agricultural recovery, local processing, securing commercial circuits and the continued conquest of markets. Led by the Minister of Foreign Trade Julien Paluku, this strategy aims to stabilize the cocoa sector and strengthen its resilience in the face of fluctuations in the international market.
