Developing the theme "Critical analysis of the Industrialization Master Plan of the Democratic Republic of Congo" at the second conference on the development challenges of the DRC focused on the fundamentals of effective and sustainable industrialization of the DRC organized by the scientific body of the UDPS and which started this Thursday in Kinshasa; Julien Paluku Kahongya, PhD student in Political and Administrative Sciences at the University of Kinshasa and Expert in Decentralization and Development, advocates for the creation of Congolese stock exchanges following the example of the London, New York and Canadian stock exchanges
to mobilize 58.4 billion US dollars to implement the DRC's Industrialization Master Plan.
This Master Plan aims to limit imports into the DRC estimated at 7 billion US dollars per year, including 3 billion in the agri-food sector, and this involves the construction of industrializing and structuring infrastructures.
