Kinshasa: Julien Paluku provides guidance to the new ANAPEX coordinators appointed by the President of the Republic
The Minister for Foreign Trade held an initial meeting on Friday 6 November 2026 in Kinshasa with the new leadership of the National Agency for the Promotion of Exports (ANAPEX)
During this initial meeting, Julien Paluku Kahongya provided some guidance and advice to ANAPEX’s new management team and the members of its Board of Directors on how to achieve the objectives set for this public enterprise. Their mission is to promote exports of Congolese products and diversify the national economy.
To fulfil this mission successfully, Julien Paluku expects the new team to introduce innovative approaches, such as organising forums in the Congolese capital to highlight the DRC’s vast potential across various sectors of socio-economic life. They must also help local producers tap into the markets the Government is securing worldwide and train them to comply with the standards required under the various partnerships that have been signed.
With these expectations in mind, the Minister for Foreign Trade wants a NEW-FORMULA ANAPEX.
Taking the floor, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Elvis Mutiri Wa Bashara, began by thanking the Head of State and the Prime Minister for the trust placed in this team. He reassured the Minister for Foreign Trade of their commitment to achieving the objectives assigned to ANAPEX with determination.
The Minister for Foreign Trade, whilst congratulating each of the appointees on their appointment, presented each of them with a note verbale confirming their new posts. It should be noted that under this decree, signed on 17 October and made public on 31 October 2026, the President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, appointed Elvis Mutiri as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Julienne Mundela as Chief Executive Officer and Trésor Kilubu as Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
